Captures for Newsletter at desktop and mobile widths are generated from a live store by npm run shots. They appear here automatically once that has run.

When to use it

Once per page at most, usually above the footer.

Setting it up

  1. Add the section and set the Media and Layout.
  2. Add Topic blocks if you want subscribers to self-select interests.
  3. Signups land in Customers in your Shopify admin, tagged as accepting marketing.

Where the content comes from

Shopify customer records own the signups. The section owns presentation.

Notes and cautions

  • There is deliberately no auto-popup variant. Popups convert slightly better and cost more in bounce and annoyance than most merchants measure.

Every setting on the section itself, in the order it appears in the theme editor. Group headings match the editor's own grouping.
